Is it normal to be obsessed with a show?
Yes—getting intensely into a show, rewatching episodes, or thinking about the characters a lot is normal. It’s only worth rethinking if it’s regularly crowding out sleep, responsibilities, or time with people you care about.
When a show really clicks, it can become your favorite escape, your main thing to talk about, or the story you keep turning over in your head. Lots of people binge, rewatch, follow fan discussions, or feel oddly attached to fictional characters; “obsessed” is often just a playful way to say you’re a big fan.
People have different thresholds for what feels like too much, but enjoying a show intensely isn’t a problem by itself. If watching starts regularly interfering with sleep, work, school, or relationships, try setting a stopping point—otherwise, enjoy your fandom without guilt.
