Is it normal to be scared of having a miscarriage?
Yep.Totally normal
Yes. Being scared of miscarriage is common, especially if you’re pregnant or trying to conceive, but the fear itself doesn’t mean something is wrong.
Pregnancy can come with a lot of uncertainty, and miscarriage is a frightening possibility to think about. Plenty of people worry about it, even when everything seems to be going well; the worry isn’t a prediction or a sign that it will happen.
If the fear is taking over your day, it’s okay to tell your pregnancy care provider and ask what to expect or what symptoms to watch for. You also don’t have to pretend to feel cheerful about pregnancy every minute—mixed feelings are allowed.
