Is it normal to cry every day as a kid?
Depends.It depends
It can happen during a difficult stretch, but crying every day often means a child is dealing with something that deserves care and attention. It doesn’t mean they’re being dramatic or doing anything wrong.
Kids cry for all sorts of reasons: stress at home or school, loneliness, big changes, frustration, or simply having feelings they don’t yet know how to explain. Some kids are also more tearful than others, and a rough patch can pass.
Still, if a child is crying every day for a while, it’s worth gently asking what’s going on rather than brushing it off as “just being sensitive.” If this is happening now, a trusted adult, school counselor, or pediatrician can help them feel heard and figure out what support might help.
