Is it normal to cry while pooping?
Depends.It depends
It can happen, especially if you’re straining or in pain, and a one-off isn’t automatically a cause for concern. If pooping regularly hurts or you notice blood, it’s worth getting checked.
Sometimes your eyes water when you bear down, and pain or a hard stool can make you cry. It doesn’t necessarily mean anything is wrong—or that you’re unusually emotional.
If it keeps happening because bowel movements are painful, or you’re straining a lot, try not to ignore it. Constipation or another source of pain may be behind it; get it checked if you also notice blood or ongoing discomfort.
