Is it normal to eat lemons like oranges?

Unusual.Less common, but harmless

It’s less common than eating oranges, but plenty of people enjoy eating lemons peeled or in segments. The main downside is that lemon’s acidity can be rough on your teeth if you do it often.

Sure. Some people just really like sour, intense flavors, and eating a peeled lemon is basically an extreme version of eating an orange. You may get a few startled looks, but it’s a harmless food preference.

Lemons are quite acidic, though, so making a habit of eating them whole can bother your teeth or mouth. Rinsing with water afterward is a sensible move; don’t brush immediately after eating something acidic.
