Is it normal to never have earwax?
Mostly.Normal for most people
Yes, it can be normal not to notice any earwax. Your ears still make it, but you may produce very little or have the dry, flaky kind that doesn’t show up much.
Your ears make wax to help protect the ear canal, but it doesn’t always collect where you can see it. Some people make less, and some have dry, flaky wax that comes out without being obvious. So “I never see any” is different from your ears literally making none at all.
If you don’t have pain, itching, a blocked feeling, or hearing changes, there’s usually nothing to worry about. Avoid putting cotton swabs or other objects into your ear canal; your ears generally handle wax on their own.
