Is it normal to not be attracted to your wife during pregnancy?
It can be normal for attraction to shift during your wife’s pregnancy, and it doesn’t automatically mean you love her less. People react differently, and the change may be temporary as you both adjust.
Pregnancy can change how you see your partner, and it can bring up worries about sex, the baby, or the big life change ahead. Stress, exhaustion, and changes in routines can also put a damper on desire. Some people feel just as attracted—or more attracted—while others feel less interested for a while.
Try not to turn a temporary shift into a verdict on your marriage, and be gentle about how you talk about it; blunt comments about her changing body can really sting. You can show affection and closeness in ways that feel comfortable for both of you, and talk honestly without making her feel blamed or pressured.
