Is it normal to not want to drive?
Mostly.Normal for most people
Yes, it’s normal not to want to drive. Plenty of people dislike the stress, cost, or responsibility, or simply prefer other ways of getting around.
Absolutely. Driving can feel tiring, stressful, expensive, or like a chore—and some people just don’t enjoy being behind the wheel. If you can get where you need to go another way, there’s no rule that says you have to love driving or do it often.
It’s also normal for your feelings to depend on the situation: you might be fine on familiar roads but hate traffic, highways, or driving at night. If fear of driving is keeping you from important parts of life, you could work on it gradually or talk it through with someone you trust—but not wanting to drive, by itself, isn’t weird.
