Is it normal to poop yourself when pregnant?
Mostly.Normal for most people
An occasional poop accident can happen during pregnancy, especially if you have diarrhea or pressure from the growing baby. If it keeps happening, mention it to your pregnancy care provider.
It’s embarrassing, but it can happen. Pregnancy can bring diarrhea, constipation, and extra pressure on your bowels, which may make it harder to hold things in—especially later on. Pooping during labor is also common, though that’s a different situation.
If it was a one-off, you’re probably not alone. If accidents keep happening, or you have severe pain, blood in your stool, or other worrying symptoms, check in with your pregnancy care provider.
