Is it normal to see undigested carrots in your stool?
Mostly.Normal for most people
Yes, seeing bits of carrot in your stool is usually normal. Carrots contain tough plant fiber that your body doesn’t fully break down, especially if you haven’t chewed them much.
Carrots have plant fibers that can make it through digestion partly intact, so you may spot little orange pieces in your stool. It’s more noticeable when you eat a lot of carrots or eat quickly.
If you otherwise feel fine, it’s generally nothing to worry about. Get it checked if it keeps happening along with ongoing diarrhea, pain, blood in your stool, or unexplained weight loss.
