Is it normal to still feel like a kid at 21?
Mostly.Normal for most people
Yes. At 21, plenty of people still feel like they’re figuring out adulthood—there’s no birthday when you suddenly feel fully grown.
Being an adult is less like flipping a switch and more like slowly realizing everyone else is improvising too. You can be legally grown and still feel unsure, depend on family, or get a little kid-ish around people who’ve known you forever.
People reach milestones at different times, and feeling young doesn’t mean you’re failing at adulthood. You can take on responsibilities at your own pace while still enjoying the parts of you that feel playful or uncertain.
