Your body can react to tattooing like it does to other stressful or uncomfortable situations: you might sweat, even if you don’t feel especially nervous. Long sessions, a warm room, and the effort of holding still can add to it too.
Tattoo artists have seen it plenty of times. Let yours know if you feel faint, nauseated, or unusually unwell, and ask for a break if you need one.
