Is it normal to argue in the first month of a relationship?
Depends.It depends
A disagreement in the first month can be normal; you’re still learning each other’s habits and expectations. What matters is whether you can talk it through respectfully, rather than getting stuck in frequent or hurtful fights.
New relationships can bring mismatched expectations to the surface fast—how often you text, how you make plans, or what each of you considers considerate. A disagreement or two doesn’t automatically mean the relationship is doomed.
Pay attention to how you handle it. Listening, apologizing, and finding a compromise are good signs; insults, intimidation, controlling behavior, or the same blowup happening over and over are not. You’re allowed to decide that even early conflict is more than you want to take on.
