Is it normal to argue with your partner?
Mostly.Normal for most people
Yes, it’s normal for partners to argue sometimes. What matters is whether you can disagree without fear or cruelty and find a way to repair things afterward.
Even people who love each other can clash over stress, habits, money, or who was supposed to take out the trash. Lots of couples argue now and then; never agreeing on anything isn’t the goal, either.
The more important part is how you argue. You should both be able to speak up, listen, and come back together afterward. If arguments regularly involve threats, intimidation, humiliation, or one of you feeling afraid, that’s not just ordinary couple conflict—and it’s worth getting support.
