Is it normal to argue with your partner every week?
Depends.It depends
Arguing with your partner every week isn’t automatically a sign that something is wrong. What matters more is whether you can talk respectfully, repair things afterward, and make progress on the issue.
Lots of couples disagree regularly, especially when life is stressful or the same practical issues keep coming up. There’s no magic number of arguments that makes a relationship healthy or unhealthy.
Pay attention to how the arguments go: can you both speak without insults or intimidation, listen, and reconnect afterward? If the same fights keep looping without change—or you feel afraid, controlled, or constantly put down—that’s worth taking seriously. A calm conversation about the pattern, or couples counseling if you both want it, may help.
