Is it normal to constantly argue in a relationship?

Depends.It depends

Arguments happen in most relationships, but constantly fighting can be a sign that something needs attention. What matters is whether you can talk things through respectfully and make changes afterward.

Every couple disagrees, especially during stressful stretches or when the same needs keep going unmet. But if you’re arguing most days, circling the same issues, or never feeling heard, that’s not something you have to write off as just how relationships are. It doesn’t automatically mean you should break up, but it does mean the pattern deserves attention.

Try talking about the pattern when you’re both calm: what tends to set arguments off, and what would help each of you feel heard? A counselor can also help if you keep getting stuck. If arguments involve threats, intimidation, or physical harm, focus on your safety and reach out to someone you trust.
