Is it normal to crack your neck?
Mostly.Normal for most people
Yes, neck cracking is common, and an occasional painless crack is usually harmless. Try not to forcefully twist or repeatedly manipulate your neck, especially if it hurts.
Neck cracks can come from gas bubbles shifting in a joint or from tendons moving as you turn. Lots of people notice them, and the sound by itself usually isn’t a problem.
Let your neck move naturally rather than yanking or twisting it to make a crack happen. If cracking comes with pain, numbness, weakness, or started after an injury, get it checked out.
