Is it normal to dislike everyone?
It’s normal to feel like you can’t stand anyone sometimes, especially when you’re stressed, hurt, or worn out. If that feeling sticks around and is making it hard to connect with people, it may be worth looking at what’s behind it.
Most people have stretches when everyone seems annoying or disappointing. Stress, conflict, burnout, or simply needing more time alone can make your patience disappear; it doesn’t mean you’re secretly a terrible person or that you have to like everybody.
There’s a difference between “I need a break from people” and feeling persistently hostile or cut off from everyone. If it’s lasting a while or affecting your relationships and daily life, talking it through with someone you trust could help you figure out whether you’re depleted, hurt, or dealing with something else.
