Is it normal to eat one meal a day?
Some people eat one meal a day by choice or because of their schedule, but it doesn’t work well for everyone. What matters is whether you’re getting enough food and feeling well.
It’s not unheard of—some people follow a one-meal-a-day routine, while others end up eating that way because work, stress, or appetite gets in the way. There isn’t one meal schedule that suits everybody.
The catch is that it can be tough to get enough energy and nutrients in a single sitting, and long gaps without food leave some people tired, distracted, or ravenous. If you feel good and your meal is varied and filling, it may simply be your routine; if you’re regularly feeling weak or dizzy, or food feels hard to manage, it’s worth talking with a healthcare professional.
