Is it normal to hate everyone you work with?
It’s pretty normal to feel fed up with everyone at work sometimes, especially when you’re stressed or stuck around people who grate on you. If the feeling is constant, it may be a sign that something about the job or your stress level needs attention.
Work puts you around the same people for hours, often while everyone’s under pressure and trying to get things done. It’s not surprising if small annoyances start feeling enormous—or if you have days when you’d happily avoid the whole team.
The useful question is whether this is an occasional vent or your default setting. If you feel this way every day, look at what’s fueling it: a rough workload, conflict with particular coworkers, burnout, or a job that’s just a poor fit. You don’t have to like your coworkers, but it can help to aim for basic respect and boundaries rather than letting the irritation take over your day.
