Is it normal to have no nipples?
Unusual.Less common, but harmless
It’s uncommon, but some people are born with very flat or absent nipples, and surgery or injury can also change them. If yours have recently disappeared or changed, get that checked; if you’ve always been this way, it may simply be how your body developed.
Some people are born with nipples that are extremely small or flat, or with none at all. Surgery, injury, or certain medical treatments can also affect them. Bodies vary, though completely absent nipples are less common than nipples that are just hard to see.
If it’s always been this way and you otherwise feel well, it isn’t automatically a problem. If the change is new, or comes with a lump, skin changes, discharge, or pain, check in with a healthcare professional.
