Is it normal to never zone out?
Mostly.Normal for most people
Yes, it can be normal not to zone out—or simply not to notice when you do. People differ in how often their attention drifts and what they count as zoning out.
Some people spend a lot of time daydreaming; others stay focused on what’s in front of them or notice their attention wandering only briefly. “Zoning out” can also mean different things, from getting absorbed in a thought to missing part of a conversation, so you may do it without calling it that.
If you feel fine and it isn’t interfering with your life, there’s no special need to zone out. People’s minds have different default settings, and yours may just be tuned more toward staying present.
