Is it normal to not like uni?
Mostly.Normal for most people
Yes, it’s normal not to like university. Plenty of people find it stressful, boring, lonely, or simply not right for them—even if they’re glad they went.
University gets sold as the best years of your life, but for lots of people it’s mostly deadlines, expensive coffee, and trying to figure out where they’re supposed to be. You might dislike the classes, the social scene, the pressure, or the whole setup—and none of that means you’re doing it wrong.
People feel differently about whether it’s worth sticking with, taking a break, changing courses, or choosing another path. It can help to pin down what you dislike and talk it through with someone you trust or an adviser; you don’t have to decide your whole future based on one rough stretch.
