Is it normal to not talk to your partner for days?
Depends.It depends
Going a few days without talking can be fine if you’re both comfortable with it and know what to expect. If one of you is using silence to punish or avoid the other, it’s worth talking about.
Some couples check in every day; others are happy with more space, especially when they’re busy or apart. What matters is whether the arrangement works for both of you—not whether you hit some universal texting quota.
If the silence comes after an argument, feels like a punishment, or leaves you anxious and guessing, that’s different. Try telling your partner what you need and asking what kind of communication feels reasonable to them. A little space can be healthy; days of unexplained silence shouldn’t have to be a relationship guessing game.
