Some people shower with their dog, though plenty keep bath time separate. If your dog is comfortable and you keep human soaps and shampoos away from them, it’s generally harmless.
It’s not everyone’s routine, but it’s not unheard of either. Maybe your dog follows you everywhere, needs a rinse, or simply doesn’t understand the concept of bathroom privacy. Dogs are famously bad at respecting closed doors.
Just make sure your dog isn’t slipping around, getting stressed, or licking products meant for humans. Use dog-safe shampoo if they need a wash, and rinse the tub afterward. If your dog would rather be anywhere else, let them keep their dignity—and their dry fur.
