Yes, plenty of couples text throughout the day, especially when they enjoy staying connected. It works best when it feels mutual and neither of you feels pressured to reply constantly.
Lots of couples text all day—little updates, memes, “what should we get for dinner?” and all that. Others prefer to catch up later and keep their phones out of the way. Neither style is automatically a sign of being more or less into each other.
The useful question is whether it feels good to both of you. If one of you feels obligated to answer right away, or texting is getting in the way of work, sleep, or time together, it’s okay to talk about finding a rhythm that suits you both.
