Is it normal to want to quit your job every day?

Depends.It depends

It’s not unusual to fantasize about quitting, especially when work is stressful or draining. If you feel that way every day, it’s worth looking at what’s making the job feel so hard rather than assuming you just have to put up with it.

Lots of people have “I’m done, I quit” days. But if the thought shows up every day, it may be a sign that something about the job—your workload, manager, schedule, pay, or the work itself—is wearing you down. It doesn’t automatically mean you should quit tomorrow, or that anything is wrong with you.

Try to pin down what you most want to escape, and whether anything could realistically change. If the job is affecting your sleep, mood, or life outside work, take that seriously and talk it through with someone you trust. You deserve more than a daily countdown to quitting time.
