Is it normal to argue once a week?
Depends.It depends
Arguing once a week can be normal, especially if you can disagree respectfully and make up. What matters more than the frequency is whether the arguments feel safe, fair, and solvable.
Some couples and close partners bump heads regularly; stress, different communication styles, or the same unresolved issue can make it happen. A weekly disagreement isn’t automatically a sign that the relationship is doomed.
Pay attention to how you argue: can both of you speak without insults, threats, or intimidation, and do things actually get resolved? If it’s the same fight on repeat, or one of you feels afraid or worn down, that’s worth taking seriously and talking through—possibly with outside support.
