Is it normal to be angry during pregnancy?
Mostly.Normal for most people
Yes—feeling more irritable or angry during pregnancy is common. Hormonal changes, poor sleep, stress, and physical discomfort can all make your fuse feel shorter.
Pregnancy can turn up your emotions, and anger or irritability can be part of that. You may also be dealing with exhaustion, discomfort, worries, or a lot of changes at once—none of that makes you a bad person or a bad parent-to-be.
If the anger feels intense, lasts most of the time, or is making it hard to get through the day or feel safe, tell your healthcare provider. You don’t have to wait until it feels like a crisis to ask for support.
