Is it normal to fight during pregnancy?
Arguments can happen during pregnancy, when stress and big changes may make tensions run higher. Physical violence or feeling afraid of your partner isn’t something to brush off—you deserve support and safety.
If you mean arguing, yes, it happens in plenty of relationships. Pregnancy can bring stress, exhaustion, worries, and major changes, so even couples who usually get along may find themselves snapping or disagreeing more. What matters is whether you can talk things through and treat each other with respect afterward.
If “fight” means hitting, shoving, threats, or you’re scared of your partner, that’s different and it isn’t okay. Consider telling someone you trust and making a plan to stay safe; if you’re in immediate danger, contact emergency services.
