Is it normal to fight every day in a relationship?
Disagreements are normal, but fighting every day can wear you both down and usually means something needs attention. A stressful spell can happen, but constant conflict shouldn’t have to be your relationship’s baseline.
Couples can argue about all kinds of things, especially during stressful periods. But if you’re fighting every day, it’s worth looking at the pattern: Are you able to cool off and repair things, or do the same arguments keep escalating without anything getting resolved?
If it feels safe, try talking about the pattern when you’re both calm, rather than trying to settle everything mid-fight. A couples counselor may help if you’re both willing to work on it. If there’s intimidation, threats, or violence, prioritize your safety and reach out for support rather than treating it as ordinary arguing.
