Is it normal to hate your voice?
Yes, it’s very normal to dislike the sound of your own voice, especially in recordings. You hear it differently from how other people do, so it can sound surprisingly unfamiliar.
Your voice reaches you partly through vibrations in your head, not just through the air. A recording misses that part, so hearing yourself played back can feel like meeting a very awkward sound-alike. Lots of people cringe at first, and some never become fans of their recorded voice.
Other people are usually much less focused on your voice than you are, and what sounds strange to you may simply sound like you to them. If the dislike is making you avoid speaking or feel deeply ashamed, it may be worth talking it through with someone you trust—but simply not liking how you sound is common.
