Is it normal to regret the past?
Yep.Totally normal
Yes. Regretting things you said, did, or didn’t do is a very human response, especially when you’ve learned or changed since then.
Most people have moments they wish they could redo. Regret can help you figure out what matters to you and make a different choice next time—which is useful, even if it’s not exactly a fun hobby.
It can get harder when you replay the same moment over and over as if thinking about it long enough will let you edit history. If that’s happening, try asking what you’ve learned, whether there’s anything you can repair now, and what you’d tell a friend who made the same mistake. You’re allowed to take the lesson without keeping yourself on trial forever.
