Is it normal to resent God?
Yep.Totally normal
Yes, it’s normal to feel resentment toward God, especially when you’re hurting or feel abandoned. It doesn’t make you a bad person or mean you have to settle what you believe right away.
A lot of people feel angry at God during grief, unfairness, illness, or other painful stretches of life. Sometimes resentment sits alongside faith; sometimes it leads you to question it. Neither reaction makes you bad or unusual.
You don’t have to force yourself to feel grateful or talk yourself out of it. Some people find it helpful to be honest about the anger—through prayer, writing, or a conversation with someone they trust. Others need some distance, and that’s okay too.
