Is it normal to touch your nose with your tongue?

Unusual.Less common, but harmless

It’s uncommon, but some people can touch their nose with their tongue because of their tongue length and flexibility. If it doesn’t hurt, it’s just a harmless party trick.

Not everyone can do it, but it’s a real little flexibility trick. Tongue length, mouth shape, and how easily your tongue moves all play a part, so some people can manage it and others can’t.

If you can do it without pain, there’s nothing strange or concerning about it—just a mildly impressive thing to show off. Don’t force it if it hurts.
