Is it normal to touch your thumb to your wrist?
Depends.It depends
Some people can bend their thumb far enough to touch their wrist, while others can’t. If it’s painless and you’ve always been able to do it, it’s usually just a quirk of your flexibility.
Thumb flexibility varies from person to person, and some people can fold theirs across their palm until it reaches the wrist. It’s not something everyone can do, but by itself it usually isn’t a problem.
If it hurts, feels unstable, or you’ve suddenly noticed a change in how your thumb moves, get it checked out. Otherwise, your thumb may simply be showing off.
