Is it normal to dislike things about your partner?
Yes. You can love your partner and still dislike some of their habits, opinions, or quirks; being close doesn’t mean liking everything about each other.
Totally normal. Nobody is a perfect match on every little thing, and sharing a life means you’ll notice habits or traits that get on your nerves. The same thing that seems charming on Tuesday can be deeply annoying by Thursday.
What matters is how you handle it: can you talk about the important stuff respectfully and accept the harmless differences? If your dislike has turned into constant contempt, or you feel you have to pretend to be someone else around them, that’s worth taking seriously. Disliking a few things isn’t a relationship crisis; disliking nearly everything may be a sign to look more closely at how the relationship feels overall.
