Is it normal to hate people in general?
Depends.It depends
It’s normal to feel fed up with people sometimes, especially after being hurt or overwhelmed. If you feel hatred toward everyone most of the time, it may be a sign you’re carrying stress or hurt that deserves some attention.
A lot of people have “I’m done with humanity” days. Bad experiences, burnout, loneliness, or too much time around people who drain you can make that feeling spread from particular people to people in general.
The feeling itself doesn’t make you a bad person, and it doesn’t mean you have to act on it. But if the hatred is constant, making it hard to enjoy anything or connect with anyone, it could help to look at what’s underneath it—and give yourself some distance from people or situations that are wearing you down.
