Is it normal to never cry in therapy?
Yep.Totally normal
Yes, it’s completely normal to never cry in therapy. People process and show emotions in different ways, and crying isn’t a measure of how much you’re getting out of it.
You don’t have to cry for therapy to be working. Some people feel things quietly, talk through them matter-of-factly, laugh, get tense, or only notice their emotions later. And sometimes you simply aren’t a crier.
There’s no emotional performance you’re supposed to put on in the room. If you’re worried that you’re holding back or having trouble accessing your feelings, you can tell your therapist—but not crying by itself doesn’t mean anything is wrong.
