Is it normal to shower for two hours?
Unusual.Less common, but harmless
Two-hour showers are longer than most people take, but they’re not automatically a problem. If you enjoy them and they aren’t disrupting your life, it’s mostly a personal habit.
Some people lose track of time, use a shower to relax, or have a lot of hair-care steps. Still, two hours is a long shower compared with what most people do, so you’re not exactly in the quick-rinse crowd.
The main downsides are practical: long, hot showers can dry out or irritate your skin, and they use a lot of water. If you’re staying in there because you feel anxious, can’t stop repeating routines, or it’s interfering with sleep or responsibilities, it may be worth looking at what’s behind the habit. Otherwise, it’s an unusual but harmless way to spend your time.
