Is it normal to feel your tampon?
Mostly.Normal for most people
You generally shouldn’t feel a tampon once it’s in comfortably. If you can feel it, it may not be inserted far enough or may be a size or absorbency that doesn’t suit you.
A tampon that’s positioned comfortably usually fades into the background. If you feel it when you sit, walk, or move, it may be sitting too low; gently pushing it in a little farther with a clean finger may help. It can also feel uncomfortable if the tampon is too absorbent for your flow, especially when you’re relatively dry.
You don’t have to put up with pain or a persistent uncomfortable feeling. Remove it and try a fresh, lower-absorbency tampon or a pad instead. If it remains painful or you can’t remove it, get medical advice.
