Is it normal to still feel your tampon?
Depends.It depends
You usually shouldn’t feel a tampon once it’s inserted properly, but you might notice it if it’s sitting too low or is too dry. Mild discomfort often improves when you adjust it or try a different absorbency.
A tampon placed far enough in should feel comfortable, not like something you’re constantly aware of. If you can feel it, it may be sitting too close to the opening, or the tampon may be too absorbent for your flow and feel dry or scratchy. You can wash your hands and gently adjust or remove it; don’t force it if it hurts.
If it keeps feeling uncomfortable, try a lower absorbency or a pad instead. Get medical advice if you have ongoing pain, trouble removing it, or unusual symptoms such as fever or a bad-smelling discharge.
